Chris Goodwin's Profile

Chris Goodwin has been involved in the Beauty industry for over 20 years. She began her career in the Beauty Industry in 1988 with a Cosmetics Company and went on to study Beauty Therapy at the Australian College of Beauty Therapy qualifying with a Diploma in Beauty Therapy in 1989.

 

She continued and completed her studies mainly in natural therapies such as, Shiatsu, Reiki, Reflexology, Homeopathy, Bach Flower Essences, Aromatherapy.

 

In 1992 she was nominated Treasurer of the Australian Beauty Association in Perth. This allowed her to go onto further studies where she was also nominated as Secretary of the ABA. In May 1996 she was nominated onto the committee of the Australasian Federation of Natural Therapist's (Inc.) where Chris remained until 2003. In 1997 she was nominated Chairperson of the ABA where she remained on the Committee of the ABA until October 2002. In 2002

 

I was given the opportunity to be employed by the Australian College of Beauty Therapy as Resources and Training Manager. In this time Chris completed BSZ4098 - Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training. In 2006 she accepted the position of Principal and has been in this position since.
