APAA National Salon of the Year 2008
Advanced Body Image was established by Katy Sellwood as a sole practitioner establishment in 2000 in Darwin, offering mainstream beauty services. Over the years the business evolved to become the leading skin therapy clinic in Darwin and is now recognised for specialising in advanced skin therapy services for the more challenging skin conditions.
The salon now employs five full-time team members who work tirelessly to ensure that uniform standards of excellence are consistently upheld throughout all their services with the aim of providing results that are unsurpassed by their competitors. They utilise the latest technologies and offer more advanced procedures such as laser therapy and cosmetic tattoo. Advanced Body Image is now enjoying a reputation that has spread throughout Darwin and is known as a leading salon in the Northern Territory.
After carefully reviewing all of the submissions the judges concluded that the SALON OF THE YEAR AWARD should go to Advanced Body Image. Daniel Gumm from Parmia (APAA insurance Provider) presented the award. Parmia also offered the winner with an additional prize of airfares and accommodation for two to Cosmoprof Asia, Hong Kong, plus a Perpetual Prize Trophy valued at $4,000.
