APAA National Student of the Year 2008
STUDENT OF THE YEAR FINALISTS
National President Anne-Marie Marynycz announced the finalists for the Student of the Year Award. These were:
SARAH AOUN - Gree College for Scientific Beauty Culture - NSW
NICKY MORROW - Australian College of Beauty Therapy -- NSW
TARMIA HOLLIS - Macquarie Beauty College - NSW
HIBA KHALIL - Fuss Beauty College - NSW STUDENT OF THE YEAR

For this award the colleges that wish to nominate a student must submit a full report on the student. The judges then physically interview the finalists for their final assessment. However, this year their selection was highly challenged, as there were two ladies who both exceeded in every way. As a result, for the first time in 13 years since these awards were introduced there was a tie for the Student of the Year Award.
The two winners were Nicky Morrow from the Australian College of Beauty Therapy, NSW and Tarmia Hollis from the Macquarie Beauty College, NSW
