APAA-AUSTRALASIAN AESTHETICS EDUCATIONAL CONFERENCE & EXPO 2010
The APAA is proud & excited to announce its Annual Educational Conference & Expo will be held at the Palazzo Versace on the Saturday 26th June & Sunday 27th June 2010. We have worked hard to provide this excellence in education & expo to you our loyal member this year. ENTRY IS FREE TO YOU & TO THE PUBLIC. The event planned will be an industry first for the APAA in all its years promoting par excellence in Education & Expo in Australia.
What can You Expect from this Event?
A.THE SPONSOR
Various levels of sponsorship are available for register from PLATINUM, GOLD & SILVER. Depending on the level of sponsorship you will be given:
- Priority Meet & Greet by the President & Vice President of the APAA and contact throughout the two day event
- FREE Advertising in our Journal (size of advert is dependant on the level of sponsorship)
- FREE awards Evening Dinner & Drinks Package, FREE advertising on our website,
- FREE advertising in our E-Newsletter, Ability to promote yourself on our FACEBOOK & TWITTER Sites.
- There are many more benefits that can be negotiated with you on an individual basis so that the event is a mutual win –win project!
B.THE EXHIBITOR
The Event will be held in the La Medusa Ballroom over both days & will encompass a group of exhibitors who have loyally supported the APAA over the past number of years. A floor plan of the hall is available to you when booking a stand. Amongst other benefits some key benefits available to you as an exhibitor will include:
- A Corinthian booth 3m x 3m where you can not only display your products but you are actively encouraged to sell these products to the public as well as to the trade delegates. All booths are the same size so the first in will have the first choice of the positioning of the booths.
- A dedicated Exhibitors Lounge where you will have access to a continuous supply of Coffee & Tea throughout the two days
- An exhibitors Manual
- A contact person with whom you can liaise with for all your needs
- Access to Moreton Hire for all your booth requirements ie additional lighting & signage etc
- A ticket to a three course dinner & drinks package for the Awards Evening at Palazzo Versace
- Palazzo Versace have advised that they will certainly try & accommodate your car parking requirements for the two days of the event
C. STAGE PRESENTATION
A stage presentation with a large background screen will be held continuously over the two days. The presentations and demonstrations will be recorded for purchase by the delegates to keep on file for future use such as: Make-up Presentation (Day, Night, Glamour), Eyelash Grafting, Industry Uniform Modeling, Fashion Modeling amongst others.

- Car parking is also available next door in the Marina Mirage multi-level car park station
- Dedicated APAA discounted accommodation at the Palazzo Versace in Superior Rooms (King size bed or two double beds bedroom configuration, you will need to specify your requirements at the time of booking)
- Opportunity to purchase products from the exhibitors during the two day event
- Opportunity to purchase CD’s of presentations in Make-up etc for future personal use
- Seating facilities in the centre of the exhibition lounge for viewing of stage presentations
- Hear experts in their field of choice by purchasing the two day Educational Seminar Program. This program is all inclusive of refreshments throughout the day (Morning Tea, Lunch, & Afternoon Tea)
E.TWO DAY EDUCATIONAL SEMINAR PROGRAM
Entry to the Program will be fee based on whether you wish to attend a One Day Seminar Conference or a two Day seminar conference.
- Your attendance fee will be ALL INCLUSIVE of all your refreshments for the Day. Morning & Afternoon Teas will be provided as well as a well planned menu for lunch on both days.
- Hear experts in their field of choice. Five Speakers will present each day. Topics will range from Advanced Technologies to Cosmetic Tattoo, Skin Analysis, Intense Pulse Light/Laser Therapies, OH&S issues, Education etc A separate brochure will be published outlining all the speakers with their profiles & topics for presentation.
- Plenty of time will be allocated for networking and for attending the exhibition.
- Statement of Attendance with CEP points will be allocated to your ticket for the event.
F. AWARDS EVENING WITH A DINNER & DRINKS PACKAGE
An evening filled with promise, gaiety & peer acknowledgment for the dedication to your business. Several APAA National Awards of Excellence will be presented on the Night. These awards will be interspersed whilst you are enjoying a wonderful three course dinner & drinks at the VIE Restaurant at the Palazzo Versace. Tickets MUST BE pre-ordered as there will not be any Tickets for sale on the Evening. As seating is allocated and numbered you MUST purchase your seats prior to the close off dates for the event. This will be advertised in our brochures & e-newsletters as well as Facebook & Twitter.
G.ONE HOUR MASTER CLASS SESSION WITH EXPERTS IN THEIR FIELD
Next door to the Exhibition hall is a Boardroom dedicated solely to you so that you can approach the experts in their field of choice for a Question & Answer session. One expert will be available to 12 delegates for a one hour close encounter! These sessions are FREE to you so please pop in and have your questions answered by these experts.
H.THE AUSTRALIA CUP NAIL COMPETITION
An overseas contingent of competitors have already booked to come to the Gold Coast for this National Event. Several categories for the Nail Competition have been announced:

- Gel-French Sculpture & Tip Overlay
- Design Sculpture
- Salon Art-Themed

I. EDUCATIONAL SPONSOR CONFERENCE Friday 25th June 2010
If you are already an Educational Sponsor of the APAA then this day had been dedicated just for you prior to the opening of the Two day Conference & Expo. This full day event is provided to you for FREE as part of our commitment to Education. One ticket per college is provided as part of the Registration. Additional Tickets for your guest will be available at $80 each BUT seating is limited. We cannot have more than 50 guests in this room so please pre-order additional tickets early so that your teachers & other guests do not miss out on a day filled with education & an educational forum. A List of speakers & an Agenda will be provided to you before the meeting. Your day has been fully catered with Morning Tea & Afternoon Tea as well as a delicious working lunch.
