I’d like to take this opportunity to advise you that the APAA has moved ahead in its vision for improved education within this industry through a number of new and enhanced benefits within the APAA Benefits Program. There is also another matter that I urgently need to bring to your attention.  There has been some serious misinformation circulated by a beauty network with the claim that it has “taken over” the APAA.  NOTHING COULD BE FURTHER FROM THE TRUTH.  This claim is totally unfounded and the APAA continues to be the longest running and largest association representing the Beauty Industry in Australia. 
 
It is very important for you to be aware of this when paying your membership dues and if in doubt about any invoice you receive, please contact me immediately to verify you have not been approached by this network seeking money from you.  If you pay them inadvertently then you will need to contact them to ask for your money to be refunded.  The APAA is not APAN and you need to be aware of this when paying any invoice.
 
The network mentioned is not an association and membership with them does not carry the status or security of APAA membership.  It is important that your clients know you belong to a proper association which is not for profit and not simply a network whose only goals are to make a profit from your membership dues.
 
We are, and continue to remain, the premier industry consulting organisation to both the state and federal governments on education and other advanced treatments within the aesthetics industry.
 
The APAA is an association that works for its members ....it is not simply a private network that is focussed on their bottom line instead of yours.  Unlike the network that is involved in this unscrupulous behaviour, the APAA it is not a private business, it is an Incorporated Association for its members.  Membership monies are used directly for member’s benefits.
